Catching My Breath

061711 028

Wednesday was a full moon, and much of the world witnessed the lunar eclipse. Not this part of the world, mind you – here it looked like the picture above until it set in the very early morning, turning yellow, then orange as it neared the horizon. Yet it was perhaps auspicious that Wednesday was also my deadline for the first paranormal bakery mystery.

Yeah, I’m gonna go with that.

So now that manuscript is in my editor’s hands, and it’s time to get back to work on the next Home Crafting Mystery. I’m looking forward to it, as I was having a lot of fun with Sophie Mae et al before I briefly shelved #6 to finish the other book. In fact, I’m feeling pretty itchy to dive back in to the adventures of my Cadyville crew.

First, there’s some catching up to do. Wined and Died is already shipping from Amazon (buy yours HERE ; >) even though the official release date isn’t until July 8. Later today I’ll be sending out copies to those of you who requested it for review or won a copy.

By the way, here is the back cover copy:

Something is brewing in Cadyville, and it's not only dandelion wine. Sophie Mae is intrigued by a recently discovered cassette recording in which a therapist fearfully contemplates her client's murderous threats. When the same therapist ends up dead, Sophie Mae is lured into another intoxicating investigation, one that explores the age-old art of mead and wine making.

And I’ve posted a list of confirmed appearances on my website. Check back, as there are more in the works.

Have a great weekend, all!
