Week Link: Free Educational Opportunities

If you’re more interested in learning than in getting credit for learning, you can access classes from highly vaunted institutions for free!

I-Tunes U offers more than 350,000 lectures, videos, films and other resources from all over. They range from business to software design, literature to accounting – and originate from places like Stanford, Oxford, Harvard, and the like.

MIT Open Courseware gives access to materials for 2000 full courses across a broad range of subjects.

Carnegie Mellon OpenLearningInitiative provides self-guided materials and web-based instruction to allow students to “assess their own learning and receive immediate, context-specific feedback.”

Johns Hopkins Open Courseware does the same, with class work focusing on health.
